Wanderlust Map

If there’s anything that I’m sure about, it’s that I love traveling. I live for it and I’m hoping to see the more of the world and all of it that it has to offer. 

I’ve created a map of the places I’ve been to outside the Philippines, my country. I plan to travel most of the countries around me before exploring to other continents.

I feel blessed enough for having the chance to travel because I know a lot of people want to but sadly can’t. I can only hope for the best for them. Strive and dream on. 

Meet SheenaDora

Basically, she’s the fattest and shortest woman alive and just my luck cause…she happens to be my roommate. She’ll be pissed when she reads this. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Anyway, she came here three months ahead of me so she pretty much teach me everything there is to know. When I came here, she begged me that we moved in together I was like okay sure why not. But then, I regret it the second I discovered she was a mess. She tosses her things here and there. She leaves her used tissue wherever. She is so damn loud I cannot take her anymore. Oh god please. ๐Ÿ˜’๐Ÿ˜Ÿ Anyway, if ever I kicked her out of my apartment just for your safety I will post a picture of her so you’d say NO when she asks if she can be your roommate.

C H I C A G O

Ever wonder what I am doing here in Chicago? No, we don’t caโ€”...okay ๐Ÿ˜’ I’m telling this for those who care and don’t just bc I like to annoy the hell outta you. ๐Ÿ˜› Well, I am here for my internship. Ever since I graduated college, I had been aiming for this opportunity. I applied then and I waited like it was the most frustrating waiting game ever. There was not a day where I don’t check up on my status. Until, they finally found a company fit for my degree. I was placed in an accounting firm in downtown Chicagoโ€”long live the city! The city is amazing. The weather is extreme here and it wasn’t called the Windy City for nothing. I couldn’t go out without my coat wrapped closely around my body and my hands shoved in my pocket. Did I mention it’s snowing in Chicago? Because oh my god the first time I experienced snow, I totally and literally jumped out of joy. It happened on my way home with my roommateโ€”she’s annoying btw and she knows it ๐Ÿ˜‰โ€”and I didn’t see it coming because it was dark and I thought it was just raining but then I felt there was this tingling sensation every time it hit my skin. That’s when Sheena(roomie) screamed it was snowing. We both squirmed loudly like a little girl! We got lost on our way home and we were freezing cold but damn it’s snowing who cares. ๐Ÿ™‚ Also, it’s so cold in here I dont sweat at all. Lol maybe that’s the reason why I already gained 10 pounds since I came here. Sheena and I enrolled in gym but seriously waking up shivering from cold isn’t exactly motivating so nah pig life it is. So far, I am liking it in here. I get to see and meet different kind of people. I see people with rainbow hair and gothic attires and nobody bats an eye. Lmao If it were in my country, he/she is gonna be a mile radius head turner. It’s just so fun in here really, I barely even feel the days passing turning them into a month already.

AUGUST FIRST

So much happenings this first day of the month. What a way to start August! Not to mention, this month would probably the suckiest month of the first semester. No holidays or activities whatsoever and that means no time for vacay!

So here’s what happened this day. First thing, my uncle died yesterday (Okay so not really a happening that happened for today but bitch please โœ‹). Second, my baby sister got hospitalized last night due to a high fever. It always happen when her birthday’s coming. Poor cute little thing has to experience it for the second time now. Third, tomorrow’s my midterms exam on my two major subjects and I haven’t even opened my notes! Fourth, my dad got drunk way faster than I did(Not a bad thing but whatever). And lastly, it’s 11:13pm (ohmy, missed 11:11 ๐Ÿ˜ฆ ) and I’m still wide awake. Everyone’s asleep now. Worst case is I haven’t studied for my exams tomorrow. Good luck to me!

T.O.D.A.Y

What was I thinking?! Saturday is always a non-uniform day. Instead, went to school today wearing uniform.

Damn. I was walking my way confidently until my eyes swept to the groups of student crossing my path and I was like ‘Uhuh. They are wearing civilian. What’s up with them?’ and clueless as I was, just marched past them. Just when the weird vibes was getting off me and I’m about to climb the stairs, I saw my two friends and surprisingly they were also wearing civilian. And that’s the only time I realized that I was the weird one. But I thought today was Friday! Come on!

I was dumbfounded and I had no choice but to go on with my life and trudged towards my classroom. Good thing tho, there’s my father. I let him get my pants, a t-shirt and sandals. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Dang! After that, my embarrassing moment was done. Poof. ๐Ÿ™‚ Next thing I knew, I was in a restaurant with my friends eating sushi. Again. Anyway, god help me my friends were on chatting mode again! All of them were either Omegle-ing or Chatous-ing. What a word. Pfft. ๐Ÿ™‚ Funny thing happened, my best friend asked for a pic to the guy he’s been chatting with and she received a picture of the guy’s Ding Dong. Eck. Some horny sonofawhore. My bestie swore never to use Chatous again. Oh promises, promises. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Went home with a smile on my face but ended up scowling because of my brother. He spilled my secret to dad. Traitor. Now I’m not talking to him.

One helluva day. Hope y’all have had good day too.

Late Nights

I’ve always been an early bird not a night owl. I find it hard to keep my eyes open when it’s past my bedtime (10pm) let alone pull an all-nighter. Tho there are times when I really need to sleep late like when there are finals week or a due project.

I’m proud to say now that I’ve achieved a week of sleeping past 12. Ha-ha. Though it’s not because of due projects or anything school stuffs but because of talking to my friends. Absurd, right? It’s not like they’re long distance or what. I can see them practically everyday. Every night, we vchat through Skype or if there’s many of us we used Oovoo. ๐Ÿ˜€ We couldn’t get enough of each other. Lol. And then on the morning(we’re classmates even), we talked about the night before.

It’s finals week again and tonight as tempting as it is to open and chat my friends, I can’t because I need to sleep and rest for tomorrow. So now, good night everyone and I’ll be drifting to dreamland. Sleep tight. Don’t let the bedbugs bite. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Happy Chinese New Year!!

At least, let me start off by greeting you a Happy Chinese New Year in chinese:

“Gong Xi Fa Cai!!” (Wishing you to be prosperous in the coming year)

And a fun way to respond to that one:

“Hong Bao Na Lai. ^^” (Red envelope please!)

Another way of saying Happy Chinese New Year is:

“XIN NIAN KUAI LE!” (ๆ–ฐๅนดๅฟซๆจ‚) which quite literally means Happy New Year.

Xin Nian (ๆ–ฐๅนด) is New Year. Xin is new and Nian is year.
Kuai le (ๅฟซๆจ‚) is happiness, joy, delight, or rejoicings.

So it’s like ‘New Year Happy’ in Chinese when you literally translate it. ๐Ÿ˜€

Anyways, have fun today (Hell yeah, coz it’s holiday today!!). Wear lucky stuff and anything that could fight off bad spirits and luck! Listen to feng shui and live a prosperous year. Duuh, tho even I have doubts in those things. But whatever, there’s no harm in trying. Good luck!

That Fuzzy Feeling

I love drinking, don’t cha?
I’m not a drunkard! But from time to time, I drink alcohol with my family and friends. Especially when there are occasions like get together, semestral break, birthdays, school time and other days worth celebrating. Woo!

It’s no surprise that some people judge me for being this kind of girl I’ve become. But hey, I’m living a life here. It’s not like I’m drowning myself with these unhealthy fuzzy drinks everyday. Whatever.

My most awaited part, the head spin! Aaa! I just love the feeling when the room starts spinning and there’s disco light everywhere! Tho I just hate it when I’m getting spins in bed. It’s just somehow hard to fall asleep.

I’m not usually the type of person to create a post like this. But since I’m drunk and my head’s spinning, might as well as take the chance. ๐Ÿ™‚

Saturday Night With My Friends

Two of my schoolmate from Manila went back here in Naga for I don’t know reason. Anyway, we decided to do a get-together with our schoolmates here in Naga. As usual we went to Magsaysay, where else is there?
